Musical talent goes back countless generations in Jonathan's family. You can hear the deep roots of Country, Southern Rock, Bluegrass, and Southern Gospel in his music. It all started for Jonathan at the age of 3 when his father placed a red acoustic guitar in his hands and said, "Have at it." By the age of 8, he was performing and traveling all over the United States. After graduating high school Jonathan made the decision to join the U.S. Marine Corps and put music on hold for a calling much greater than himself. In 2010 Jonathan sustained multiple life changing injuries as a result of being hit by 5 seperate IEDs "improvised explosive device" during a deployment to Afghanistan. Jonathan was medevaced from Afghanistan to Bathesda Hospital and this was the start of his long road to recovery. Jonathan spent 2 years in Wounded Warrior Battalion at Camp Lejeune, NC where with the help of multiple therapist and programs he learned to walk, talk and play music again. In 2012, after being medically separated from the military Jonathan headed back to his hometown of Canton, Georgia. After going through so much he realized life was too short not to follow his dreams and with the support of his family and friends Jonathan made the leap back into the music world. This is the road that led Jonathan to where he is now, performing all around the U.S. and different parts of the world making a name for himself. "Music Heals, Overcomes, and Changes Lives". In 2017, Jonathan has become a regular show at some of Georgia's top venues such as Coyotes, Wild Wing Cafe Gainesville, Whiskey River, Crescent City Tavern and many others. In June, he released his EP with new great original songs.
