Georgia Country Bookings
Georgia-Country.com is not a booking agency. But with our relationships with the many venues and events around Georgia, we often successfully placed our acts and bands. We have placed acts in venues such as: Wild Bills (when open), Outlaws in Columbus, Whiskey River Ellijay, Cypress Grill in Cordele, Salty Snapper, Woodstack BBQ, Coyotes, Gustons Woodstock, Crescent City Tavern in Dalton, 16 East in Cordele, Alibis & Sunset Island Grill in Savannah, Blueberry Hill in Savannah, Dawsonville Tavern, 747 Lounge in Jacksonville, Top Dawg Tavern in Winder, Crazy Bull in Macon, Amicis throughout Georgia, American Legions in Rome & Club 201 and many others. We booked full band to acoustic shows. We also have had our acts open for some of the biggest names in country music, such as: Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd, Rhett Akins, Doug Stone, Bryan White, John Berry, Josh Gracin, Joe Diffie and The Swan Brothers. We also have joined GigMasters and GigSalad, which several of our artist have been booked for weddings, festivals, private functions and more.
We do NOT charge a booking fee for our acts that is booked from GC. What we book them for, they make. We work between our acts and the venues to make sure the night is as successful as possible. We coordinate the load in times, equipment needed and show times. The only booking fee that might apply is booking from third party agents or a flat rate from GigMasters & GigSalad events.
With us NOT a booking agency, we can't promise any amount of bookings per month or duration of contract, but all our acts have been booked enough over a year's time, that they've made their contract investment back from GC Bookings. We also don't put any limits on the bookings. We will aggressively book you often during your contract with Georgia-Country.com. Most of our acts make back two or three times or more. And with our relationships with the venues, we often get contacted by these venues and other events, looking for singers and bands.
We feel that every band or act has to have the tools in order to get considered or booked at any venue. You must have either a well managed website or music page (Facebook or Reverbnation). You must have quality enough videos for potential venues to veiw and listen to. Most venues will not book an act sight unseen.
Outside of gig bookings, GC has directed our acts to radio spots, benefit shows, songwriter showcases and other oportunties that will expose their music. We have also added showcases for local and national record labels, publishing companies and entertainment groups for the acts we work with.
TO THE VENUES: Why book with Georgia-country.com? GC is the #1 website in the state for country music, esp IN the state. With a long list of local bands playing, venues that have country music, dancing, concerts and more, GC is also a media source to the public. We average around 3000 hits per day from Jan thru May but from June till end of the year, with the Georgia Country Awards, we average around 15,000 hits per day. These are people coming to GC to vote for the Georgia Country Awards. Every venue in Georgia that has booked a GC artist, will get that FREE exposure on GC and GC social media. Facebook, Twitter and email newsletters. GC creates a poster and pushes their acts on website and social media. GC also works closely with each artist to make sure every show is rewarding for both the artist and the venue.
